Little things can cause big damage
Had a friend reach out because there is residual hip pain from a hike she had done days earlier. So I sent her this; if you know you know, the hike isn’t the culprit. Remember hiking and lots of walking tests the body’s balance. Plus, if you’ve had a gait session with me you’re most likely lengthening your stride and properly transferring weight from hip to hip.
Remember to stretch and prep your body for any sort of movement. Whether it be to pick up the laundry, stock shelves, or canvass for a cause you believe in… stretch your previous activity (or lack there of) out of your body. Reset the balance in the body and be aware of the muscles are feeling before the activity.

awesome Tuesday session with Lish
shout out to our wonderful trainer Lish for a great 1:1 session yesterday morning. Exciting to see the measurements and progress since our first session in January. At work yesterday I really tried to focus on taking longer strides while walking.
