Broken Fast not Broken habit
As I’ve come to a close of my restriction, I am always grateful for what is introduced into my life. Did I have steak on Wednesday? Yes. But my meals Thursday and today still don’t focus predominantly on animal protein.
To be fair, beef stays with my body longer than other animal proteins, I’m usually bloated after indulging for a couple days. However, since I’ve been prioritizing my carbs composition, healthy fats, and learning new recipes my diet rhythm has changed. I’m getting all my fiber and hydration and no bloat in sight.
I’ve achieved balance without demonizing food because I focused on ADDING to my life.
This last month for me and the kiddos cost me around $250 and that’s because I door dashed my groceries 😹😹
