Regardless of how you do it, a calorie deficit is actually the key component to a successful cut. Starvation and extreme fasting is not necessary. However, consider reducing alcohol, baked goods and or excess snacking. Please do max testing prior to starting the program so that you know what weight to utilize for your cut. My recommendation is to use 30% of max squat for your leg days; 30% of max bench for chest days; 20-30% of max dead lift for back days.
